What a wonderfully quiet weekend, staying cosy in my apartment- only leaving for spontaneous shopping trips for furry hats, granola and sequins. Winter is officially upon Paris- early evening yesterday I walked all the way home; marvelling at the christmas lights sparkling all over the facades of Galeries Lafayette, and then, I paused to take a couple photos of the glittering Eiffel Tower and finally, I watched the glowing warm Ferris Wheel slowly spinning in the Tuileries. Must admit, I was in a rather despondent mood yesterday but that 25 minute walk set my soul straight- Paris has such an undeniable spark about it and its a city that genuinely keeps me happy.
