I always forget how much I love the colour coral – its sort of like my love for raspberry herbal tea – every so often I’ll casually buy a box and then wonder why its not on my tea shelf every week. My mind is always running with work thoughts that I often overlook some of the simple things I really love, like aimless walks by the river or eggs benedict or even re-reading books like Wide Sargasso Sea or A Summer’s Crossing. So what I’m encouraging here is: wear more of your favourite colour, eat more of your favourite foods and pull down your most loved books from your shelves – take time to appreciate your personal, uncomplicated pleasures in life. We live in such a money-obsessed world, and while I am a firm believer in (very) hard work, this constant chase for cash can often leave us worn out and dehydrated – so take some time to get deep down into the things that make you happy.
