Wow, its been a hot, long day – my feet are aching from dashing to and fro across the city in heels. I’m excited to relax a little tonight, the weather is so beautiful, we are going to have a picnic on Pont des Arts. Have you all been sale shopping yet? Recently, I’ve become obsessed with developing a “capsule” collection of my daily clothing – buying high quality garments I can wear for years to come. You know, the basics, like leather skinny trousers and black cotton tank-tops – the stuff I wear all the time. So far, I’ve snapped up a beautiful mesh cardigan from COS and a basic pair of Alexander Wang heeled ankle boots. And I’ve been eyeing up an Acne leather jacket for a while, maybe its time to bite the bullet? I don’t know! I love all my extravagant clothes, but underneath all these gorgeous, bright garments – I also want a foundation of luxury basics to rely on. What do you girls think?
