As a girl who spent quite a few years in both England & Ireland, I’ve grown up with Primark – it was my go-to shopping destination as a University student (hello 1 pound undies and socks!) and while I’m years past graduating, I still love the brand and will forever congratulate them on just how deliciously affordable but on-trend their stuff is. So, when the lovely PR team got in touch, asking if I’d attend their Press Day here in Paris as well as style some outfits from their S/S Collection, I was beyond thrilled. So off I went to oogle and style  some looks!

Now, let me tell you girls something – I’ve been blogging for a long time now (6 years) – I very rarely go to press events, they usually disappoint me and in terms of creativity, are a little boring. But I was genuinely so impressed with Primark. Their collection was split up into different themes, based around colours/styles. Super easy to browse and beautiful presentation.  The designers took inspiration from past decades, and as a girl who enjoys all different types of clothes, I was inundated with choices, from sports luxe to hyper feminine – they literally had it all!

Not to mention, the most amazing food – from uber healthy juices and salads to mini bacon and salmon sliders. I actually sat down and ate lunch at the event – and the best part? The food choices matched the clothes – aesthetically, the entire set-up was just so great. I especially loved their flamingo, palm tree & pineapple motifs everywhere, really making me excited for spring (too bad winter isn’t even half over)

Personally, I totally fell for their ‘Polaroid Nostalgia’ theme – super girly, sugary sweet colours. Invitees were given sticker packs, I stuck all my “WANT” circles over almost everything pastel. I love how this boxy cropped blouse & dusty pink trousers look together – definitely one of my favourite ensembles from the collection. Huge thanks to the PR team at Primark for the invite and stay tuned, I’ll be styling and featuring a few more Primark pieces in a couple weeks! Photos: Anna Rakhvalova
