So as you girls know, I’ve been running around Barcelona recently, it’s a city I have been spending a lot of time in this year, and yet not one I can say I am totally familiar with. Every time I think I’ve gained a grasp on what is a relatively small and very dense city , I get lost and all turned around – walking in circles until I find my way again. But being such a fickle soul, anything new is far more exciting to me, and so while I might feel a little lost here, it’s a happy sort of lost. Much like the one I felt when I moved to Paris all those years ago, and discovering this city has already made it feel more like home to me. People are so friendly here, from cab drivers to waitresses and even people I’ve met professionally have been so warm and easygoing. And thanks to all these kind strangers, friends old & new, too many tapas & beach trips to count, I’ve been having such fun. Rooftop pools, 1 euro juices at La Boqueria, sunset ferris wheel rides at Tibidabo – what a spectacular city to enjoy some of the summer. And so here are some photos from here, there & everywhere of life, lately in Barcelona!
