Fête de la Musique is one of my favourite nights of the Paris year. A summer event where the streets are filled with music- bands of all sorts take to the streets and perform for the night. It takes place on the 21st of June every year and both professional and amateur musicians come together and perform for free. Best part is that it takes place on almost every street of the city. I cannot even put into adequate words just how incredible the atmosphere of this night is! River Island contacted me asking if I wanted to choose and style an outfit to wear for the evening – and of course, I was thrilled. I’ve been meaning to get myself into a pair of dungarees, so I went for a denim pair and mixed it up with a red boho-vibe. Heels are a no-go for this event – comfort is key, as I wanted to explore as much of the music/city as physically possible. And just for those of you that were wondering, if you happen to be in the city for next year’s, the 6eme on the left bank is by far my favourite area to spend this night. More tomorrow!
