Oh girls, life is good. It’s almost 20 degrees outside and the air feels crisp with change. Call me optimistic, but spring is but a few streets away and I’m tearing through this city chasing it. I feel light and happier in my skin than I’ve been. The year is progressing in a way I can’t quite believe, incredible people begun to saunter into my life as soon as 365 reset, such as Marta; the very pretty and incredibly hardworking girl I’ve hired as my ‘brand manager’ or the man I’m beginning to feel okay calling my ‘boyfriend’ or the crazy girl who prefers gold shoes called Sybil; she’s a big sparkling bottle of stories. I want to hear them all. And my workload, it spun around and shot off like a canon again, so I’ve said goodbye to late morning coffees, reunited instead with sleepless nights creating things on screens. But I don’t even mind, no not at all. Like I said, life is good and that probably makes me sound obnoxiously happy, but I don’t mind. You girls know me well enough to know that I’m not always so and when I am? I’m never smug. Just beaming a little like the sun outside. Beaming and excited for all the things to come and spring, yes I am excited for spring!
