What I’m Wearing: Boohoo Peplum Top, Boohoo Floral Print Trousers & Boohoo White Heeled Sandals
Over the years, I’ve come to the conclusion that there are good floral prints and then there are great floral prints. But what makes a floral great rather than just good? I can’t really come up with one defining quality, but the great ones are usually a little different – combining unusual colours and the print itself is refreshing and untypical in a way that makes you look twice at it. Let’s take these Boohoo floral trousers for example, now, I don’t know about you – but I think this is a great one. Yellow and blue – its different yet still bright and cheerful. In fact, Boohoo are killing it floral-wise these days, so many good ones. I want them all. And on another slightly different note, I saw a very handsome man on a street in Barcelona last weekend wearing a floral print button-down shirt …wow, I’m into it. Men wearing florals, it takes a serious man to pull that off. I’d say a tan and broad shoulders are definitely prerequisites – what do you girls think? I say, men should wear more prints, and that includes polka dots too. There is something so dapper about a dude who can pull off a typically feminine print, right? More tomorrow!
