Pronovias kindly invited me to their 50th anniversary celebrations and events this year. So I jumped on the train to Barcelona, checked into my beautiful hotel and embarked on what I can only describe as an utterly magical 48 hours. Now for those of you unfamiliar with Pronovias, they are the world’s leading bridal brand – designing dreamy wedding dresses for brides all over the world. This year marked their 50th anniversary, so they went all out – Gatsby-worthy parties and a stunning catwalk show. As always, I was adequately snap happy, so I thought I’d share some snippets of the event here and there, wishing each one of you could have come with me! Barcelona is a city I truly love, and one I am planning to spend a lot more time in, so it was a great intro to a place I am going to be calling home for half the year.

Bloggers from all the world flew in for the event and being such a kind brand, Pronovias threw us a bloggers bash – where we ate, drank and laughed alot. Plus, we had a lot of fun with props and a photobooth that I wish I could have in my apartment!

The next day we were given a backstage tour of the show – makeup artists, models and chereographers in full preshow frenzies – plus their headliner, Karoline Kurkova – a model who is as graceful as she is kind. Then we got to take a peep at their 50th anniversary exhibit, showcasing dresses worn by celebrities and princesses alike, all designed by some of the world’s biggest fashion names. It took a lot of self-control to not touch the dresses, especially the one made totally of feathers, I was in awe!

After a long hair and makeup session (thanks GHD Spain for making my locks look so lovely!), we were ready for the fashion show and afterparty – Nuria and I managed to snap some photos outside the venue, where we sunbasked for a good while. There were 2000 atendees in total, so you can imagine the craziness outside the show!

The afterparty took place in a beautiful museum, with sparkling views of the entire city. It was amazing! Mia Moretti, Eleanora Carisi and I took to the dancefloor – two girls I follow online and via instagram – and what fun they were! Always nice to put a personality to a face you stalk online, right?

It was such a good time – thank you for Pronovias for sharing this with me – and for all the cute bloggers that I got to hang out and party with. If you’d like to see more photos of the event, head over to my instagram – where I shared the entire experience, as usual – you girls know how obsessed I am with everything insta! 🙂
