It’s a funny thing how a dress has feelings. And this one? Full of a work ethic I am lacking today. I go full force and then nothing at all, for a day or at most two. There are baggy clothes, hairs in piles on my head and acai bowls for breakfast at a time when everyone else is finishing lunch. But so it goes for me, I work at two speeds. A sprint followed by what I can only describe as a body haul. There is no slow jogging in the work I do nor in the energy I feel. But then there are dresses like this, that sculpt and mould my carelessness into work mode. An entrepreneurial sort of garment, I guess. It is in charge, commanding me in a way I really very much need on a day like today. And so, I guess I’ll thank Mr Ted; Ted Baker to be precise, the brand behind this bossy dress. Now you know I rarely advocate shopping, but this dress saved me today, perhaps you need some added energy too.
