Of all the Chi Chi dresses I have ever worn, this one is by far my favourite, precisely why I had to wear it in both colours. A very subtle  grey pink as well as a navy on the nice side of blue. I love a full skirt, preferably with a tulle undercoat to really intensify any spinning endeavours that inevitably occur when I saunter the sidewalks. I do love movement in photography, I always move around, perhaps too much – there are a great deal of outtakes per photo set I share here. And when I photograph other people, I always urge them to move. There is something so beautiful to me about a skirt caught in the wind of a spin, or perfect hair exploding into an unruly mess or the muscles on a pair of legs flexed in mid air. So much prettier than just standing still. Motion in all its forms is always better I believe. But also a word I am clutching at these days, motion; propelling me towards changes and goals and ideas for 2016. I know, I know I continue to reference 2016, but as a very nostalgic girl, the beginning of an end to start again has always a big deal to me. Far bigger than Christmas, to be honest, I don’t want a single thing this year. I was already gifted the best year of my life, nothing wrapped in a box can beat that. You might think that’s a cheesy thing to claim but I don’t care. It really was the best year. I didn’t get engaged or make a million but I got a little dog and a little house and those are the best things ever. So, yes, I’m holding out, skipping Santa because there is nothing I want. Just happy to have another year ahead, full, I hope of so much motion, I am spinning into 2016. Yes I am. And you are too. We are all spinning into this together. I like to think of you and me as a team. Don’t you agree?
