You girls know how much I love the beach. It’s my place of peace, where I come to cure the mean reds or work stress. So, I decided to take a few hours off and dash to the closest shoreline I could get to. And for winter beach trips, Hunter wellies are seriously the best shoe choice. My very best friend bought me this turquoise pair for my birthday one year during our University days together. I remember wanting a pair so badly but was just too broke to justify spending my food money on a pair of rubber shoes – so when she got them for me, I was so thrilled. Even better that I am still wearing them now almost 5 years later! I always think of her when I wear them to the beach, especially appropriate as she is a die-hard outdoorsy, nature lover. (she even works in environmental policy). More tomorrow!
