Let’s say we were going to meet for coffee, I’d take you to Cafe Madam – one of my all-time favourite spots in Paris. I’d most definitely order a latte and you might opt for a chai version (but only after a zealous recommendation on my part) and we’d sit outside in the sunshine, probably instagram the pretty flower arrangements on the table and then get lost in that delicious activity of doing absolutely nothing. There’d be laughs over cake and probably a second dose of caffeine – I’d whip out my canon at some point and convince you to let me take some photos of you, because the light is just perfect and your hair is done so nicely…and I’d promise that if you didn’t like the shot, I’d instantly delete it. You see, this is how I imagine meeting and getting to know each and every one of you – over the weekend I’ve spent a lot of time interacting with alot of you via social media – and it’s a dialogue that made my week but also one, I honestly, really cherish. My readers are my friends and I’ll always consider this blog a friendship between me and you. So here’s to the imaginary coffee we would drink together on this perfect Sunday! Photos: Faye Bullock
