Being a full time blogger definitely has its perks, I appreciate everything my somewhat unusual job offers- mornings working at home in my pyjamas, the abundance of clothes and occasional travelling. It really is great. And I know my life might look incredibly covetable from your side of the computer screen, and sure, in a lot of ways it is but in all honesty, I work really hard for the money I earn, my income fluctuates so drastically from month to month and I have so many projects going at once, it can be difficult to manage both my time and mind sometimes. And like I tell you girls every season, PFW isn’t one long dress up party for me, but more of a solid 10 days of work and opportunities to meet all kinds of brands, magazines and so forth. I am approached for work but most of the time, I am pitching myself to brands. I get up every morning and actively seek out the projects you see on Frassy, I’m not idly waiting for something good to hit my email inbox. So I thought, because I always try to be honest with you all, I’d show you an outfit I’ve been wearing a lot this Paris Fashion Week, I opted out of most shows and dived straight into meeting after meeting. Some of have been great, others have been completely disheartening – but either way, I clean up and dress smart, in hopes that I actually feel smarter and confident. And as always, I am so grateful for you girls, my best friends honestly – sharing and talking to you here and via Facebook/Instagram is the most fun thing in the world – precisely why I am in the midst of planning a HUGE giveaway for you all soon as a small token of my appreciation for your support all the time, no matter what!
