As a girl who has only recently begun beauty blogging, I’ve gone at it whole-heartedly. Over the last few months, I have tried & tested dozens of products, mentally weighing up their pros and cons, determined to only showcase the truly great ones here on Frassy. And with so much travel recently, I’ve had to really downsize and prioritize what I bring with me and all of these made the cut – which was no easy feat! I’ve come back to these products time & time again, some of which I now refuse to live without. So take a look at some of my latest beauty faves and here’s hoping my input helps you with your own beauty purchases, an endeavour I personally find endlessly overwhelming – there are just too many products out there to choose from!

1. Clarins Radiance Plus Golden Glow Booster: I bought this on a whim at duty-free and was stunned at simply how incredible this product is! Basically it’s a fake tan concentrate that you add to your moisturizer every night. 3 small drops creates a sunkissed complexion the next morning. And even better if you are already naturally tanned! But be sure to apply with a tanning mitt, my first try resulted in some hideous stains on my hands! It’s effectiveness means it’s pretty potent, so go easy – just a few drops is really all you need.

2. Bobbi Brown Smokey Eye Mascara & Kajal Black Eyeliner: I have seriously pathetic eyelashes, I know boys with longer lashes than me! So when it comes to mascara, I need as much volume as I can get. Bobbi Brown’s Smokey Eye is one of my favourites, purely because the brush is so thick which really coats the product on nicely. I’ll use this in adjacent to the Smokey eyeliner which is dreamily smooth and blendable.

3. Lucas Pawpaw Ointment: One of my Australian readers sent me this (thanks Christine!) and it’s the holy grail of beauty products. From chapped lips to blisters and dry feet or eyelids, I will slather this stuff anywhere & everywhere. Thankfully she sent me two tubes of this magic stuff but I will panic when I start to run out!

4. Andoer 32 Make-up Brush Set: Ok, so those of you who are true beauty gurus will probably shudder, but yes I bought 32 makeup brushes on Amazon for the crazy price of 10 euros. Now I know brushes are important, but at this point, I don’t know how to use a single one, so I thought I’d start myself off with a beginners cheap version to learn on in the hopes that I will gradually invest in quality brushes when I am a little more educated in this whole makeup application process. Every time I have my makeup done professionally for a blog-related shoot, the poor makeup artist shudders at my poor craftsmanship as she/he removes my sloppily applied mess. Here’s to learning how the pros do it! And pictured here are about 8 brushes out of the whopping 32, because honestly these are the only ones I have kinda figured out how to use.

5. Adrian London Rose Hip Oil Cleanser & Telomere DNA Repair Cream: So at 25, I have officially started using anti-aging products- I can already see my skin changing since my dewy early twenties, and quite frankly, it scares me a little. My favourite duo is by Adrian London – their rose hip oil cleanser makes your skin feel so fresh – it took a while to get used to the strange consistency, most of it absorbs before you clean it off – but its been keeping my skin polished & fresh so far.  Plus its jam packed with minerals & vitamins helping generate new skin cell growth. I’ll then slather a generous scoop of their DNA repair cream, deliciously fragrance free & light,  perfect for just before bed.

 6. Bumble & Bumble Straight Blow Dry Creme: I have no idea if my hair is naturally curly or straight, it goes both ways and actually has moods of it’s very own. Regardless of what my hair is saying or how I’m styling it, I always put a dollop of this in it before I go at it with the blowdryer/hair straighteners/curling iron.  It’s a super light de-frizzer, simply just keeps my hair a little smoother and more manageable.

7. Bobbi Brown Hydrating Face Tonic: Oh, I love this stuff – so much so, I’ve been gifting bottles to my friends everywhere. I apply it morning and night, straight after cleaning my face,  it’s so soft and soothing. But also, jam packed with all sorts of skin super powers too, including lavender, vitamin B5, chamomile and cucumber. I rarely get blemishes girls and while I was blessed with good skin – I swear this tonic keeps my skin in even better condition especially after a long day in makeup.

8. He-Shi Tanning Mousse: A few months ago, I told you all that St Tropez was my favourite fake tan – and while I still love the brand, I think I’ve found an even better one. Lesser known but far more golden, He-Shi Foaming mousse is my new tan-in-a-bottle manta. Why do I love it so much? It never streaks – it’s astonishngly light on application yet produces an incredible natural glow. But it’s mousse form is where it’s powers truly lie, it honestly does just fade off and away. None of that awkward in between fake tanning sessions, weird patchy orange skin that I have fallen victim to one too many times in my lifetime!
