I´m back in Paris, but from the second I stepped off the plane, it´s been a whirlwind of activity, jumping between events and work (as you´ve probably seen on instagram) After being away all summer, I’m slowly easing back into my schedule here. Returning has been lovely but this week has left me exhausted, the pollution and humidity have me feeling all kinds of lethargic and my workload is looking beyond overwhelming. So, I was determined to make some time to do something relaxing this Sunday, a facial at the Caudalie spa followed by a solitary walk along the seine with fresh flowers in tow. It was just what I needed, while working in Paris is great, it’s the few hours here and there between that I really cherish. And even better, the moments I spend alone, drinking a coffee at a cafe, walking to the metro or even just picking up a book and heading to a quiet courtyard or park. There is something so calming in aimlessly wandering around by yourself here, just me and a big beautiful city I can call my own in my own private ways….
