Scarves are cosy, I quite like my collection of coats and my detox teas taste much better in this chilly weather, but I’m tired, sad and lost in winter. I guess we probably all are, so I’ll put a pause on my complaining. And rather, feel thankful for these spring like days in Spain, when the sun is hot, the wind is cold – and the warmer weather is making promises, promises you can feel for a few seconds here or there, late in the afternoon, especially by the sea. The wind whips your hair, you toss off your coat and let the air wrap around you, energizing you in a way you can’t quite explain. The sand is soft, and with just a little bit of skin on show, you can feel it, the gradual lift into spring will come, not soon enough, but it’s coming.
