Paris Fashion Week, an event I’ve circled around quite in the same way the peripherique highway pivots around the city itself. Never totally immersed in the events or shows but somewhere a few steps away, edging the perimeters of PFW. Camera and suitcase in tow, frantically chasing the sunlight, avoiding the photographers all the while wondering how everyone else manages to look so chic as I awkwardly change shoes on the street. And this time, my lovely assistant Neguine came with me, I have never had help like hers. Consistent, dependable – together we are a team. It’s always been just me and whoever I found with some free time to help me. With an unimaginable amount of work ahead me I am immensely grateful to have her here with me. She orders the coffee while I swear at the poor wifi cafe connections, patiently captures my every creative whim on camera & as I write this she is feeding me ibuprofen for a headache that just won’t go away. So, like I said, I needed a team to tackle these next few days, the finale of the busiest month of my life. And together we are a team. So it seemed fitting to slip away from work for a few quiet minutes to enjoy the sunset that like gold dripped across the bridge. It was beautiful and the perfect way to end a chaotic day that started way too early at 6 am. So much to come from me soon, both on here, snapchat & instagram. You know where to find me loves.
