Karen Millen and I, we go way back. In fact when I lived in Paris, I hosted an event at their boutique in Le Marais. This year saw us collaborate on one of my most popular posts to date, my Barcelona city guide. So it seemed perfect to photograph my favourites from their A/W collection in Paris. Personally, I salute the brand on their quality, their pieces are deliciously luxurious and yet not painfully expensive. I felt like a true lady sashaying around the city in these satin styles; and the trench and camel coats? They were made for me. Yes, they were. It was such an honour to showcase the brand in some of my most beloved Paris locations. Naturally including the Eiffel Tower, Les Deux Magots ; previously my old stomping grounds and finally, this retro cafe in the 7eme that I am honestly starting to believe is indeed time sealed. As I speed along to 30, I’ve seen my style evolve dramatically, and yet I know however quickly I age, Karen Millen will always feel suitably chic to me. I suppose quite like that cafe in the 7eme, we all have our own time seals tucked right into our wardrobes. KM is certainly one of mine. So here’s to the brand but also to Paris, two steadfast loves of mine.
