‘It isn’t spring’ I can hear you thinking in your head, I know, but Barcelona has me fooled. In more ways than the weather too, it seems or so I fear. But I will save other foolery for another day, instead veering our focus over to lace instead. A good texture to elicit looks from men. A good fabric for the warm not quite winter days. A good choice to go out in. Best when not black but blue or white. Ideal with bare legs and jackets off the shoulder, in hand instead. Perfect with hair almost lost in the wind. Nice to take out for coffee or for wine when the streets are dappled dark & bright as the sun hits last light. And on a Thursday full of worries, lace felt lovely, it felt right.
