Biba in my handbag, it made my day. But it’s been a series of great days that concluded in a month I tied up into a parcel of memories to add to my ever expanding collection. I’ve been writing vicariously, I’ve been running downtown most nights too for fun and new people at tiny bars and restaurants tucked into streets I don’t even know the names of. Going to the beach to drink nothing but a 2.50 euro water at a beach bar. I’m the weird girl in the hat pausing to write something I thought as a note in my iphone. Laughing as I squeeze Biba’s fluffy little legs into handbags, lazily opting for a cab up the hill to my house, buying candles and wondering where my lighter is. Slipping on sandals and rejoicing over the lack of socks on my feet. I’m happy and perhaps this is nonsensical but sometimes that’s the best way to feel, silly and afloat for absolutely no reason other than I’m alive and here and it’s spring.
